Crank Storyline

The hit-man Chev Chelios is poisoned by the criminal Verona and his friend and doctor Miles advises him that he must keep his adrenaline in an upper level to stay alive. Chev meets his girlfriend Eve and together he looks for Verona to kill him.

Crank trivia

The gun Chev uses in the bar scene is a Springfield XD. The loaded chamber indicator on the top of the gun indicates that there was no round in the chamber (the gun wasn't loaded) and the cocked position indicator indicates that the striker was down and the gun could not be fired even if it was loaded.
The overhead satellite images have the Google Earth logo on them, complete with the 2006 copyright.
'Jason Statham' (qv) did all of his own fight and car stunts.
The guy in the hospital pharmacy that tells Chev about the nasal spray is 'Chester Bennington' (qv), one of the lead singers from 'Linkin Park' (qv).
The hooded terrorist in the "Fear, Excitement, Danger" segment is 'Guillaume DeLouche' (qv), the weapons master on the film.
