Angel Heart Storyline

Harry Angel is a private investigator. He is hired by a man who calls himself Louis Cyphre to track down a singer called Johnny Favorite. As he begins to investigate, all the people he contacts concerning Johnny are killed in mysterious ways. As he finds out more about himself and his client he discovers that he is fighting for his very existence and is forced to deal with the devil himself.

FAKE: When Angel discovers Margaret Krusemark's body, a pulse in her neck is clearly visible.
DATE: When Harry Angel makes his tape recording, he gives the date as 3 January 1955. Later he quotes from the television program, _"The Mickey Mouse Club" (1955)_ (qv) which did not premiere until 3 October 1955.
FACT: The credit for "Extras Casting" is misspelled without the first T as "Exras Casting".
CONT: During Angel's first meeting with Cyphere, Cyphere's cane switches from being in his hand to not being in his hand when the camera angles changes.
CONT: After Harry finds Dr. Fowler dead, he lights a cigarette and the camera shows a close up of the gun in Dr. Fowler's hand, not fully grasped, pointing towards the left side of his body. In the next shot Harry goes to grab the Bible with the ammunition inside, and the gun is now pointing up towards Dr. Fowler.
